I'm traveling to beautiful Lake Tahoe, California, this weekend to join a group of musicians for a concert that is spearheaded by songwriter, Alex Woodward. The project/concert series that he started, For The Sender, was based on letters he received from people around the world sharing their stories of loss, grief and "intimate tales of being and belonging." The letters turned into songs and the songs turned into books, gaining the attention of spiritual teacher, Dr. Wayne Dyer, "Alex Woodard is one of the greatest writers i've ever discovered," and spiritual leader, Deepak Chopra says, "Alex Woodard's For The Sender radiates with love and is a beautiful tribute to the resilience of the human spirit."
